The American Red Cross prevents & alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers & the generosity of donors. Every day, we deliver help & hope within three service areas: (1) support to victims of disasters (2) care for active military and veterans (3) teaching life-saving skills.

 

Boys & Girls Club of Tennessee Valley

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley has been serving the East Tennessee community for 75 years. Our organization has 15 Club locations in Knox, Blount, Loudon and Anderson counties. Over 8,300 youth are served by our programs that promote Healthy Lifestyles, Academic Success, Good Character, and Citizenship.

 

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Cure Finders

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis and to help all people with the disease to lead full, productive lives. We fund research, support sophisticated care, and do our best to help those with CF overcome any roadblock life may bring.

 

Emerald Youth Foundation

Emerald Youth Foundation's mission is to raise up a large number of urban youth to love Jesus Christ and become effective leaders who help renew their communities. Emerald has been working in the heart of Knoxville for 25 years and serves 2,200 youth annually through faith, learning and health programs.

 

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

JDRF’s mission is to accelerate life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat type 1 diabetes (T1D) and its complications. JDRF funds research, advocates for government support of diabetes research, ensures new therapies come to market, and connects the T1D community which currently consists of approximately 1.25 million Americans.

 

Mission of Hope

The Mission of Hope is an Appalachian Relief Ministry assisting the needs of our less fortunate neighbors in economically distressed mountain communities of Northeast Tennessee, Southeast Kentucky and Southwest Virginia. Partnering with School Family Resource Centers and small Community Ministries, we provide year-round assistance through several organized programs and events.

 

Operation Honor Guard

Operation Honor Guard raises funds for Honor Guard details. These are the volunteers veterans who stand at attention, deliver a 21-gun salute and play taps at the funerals of veterans. Averaging well over 75 years of age, Honor Guards need help to pay for uniforms, boots, gloves, and gas.

 

Remote Area Medical

Remote Area Medical's mission is to prevent pain and alleviate suffering by providing free, quality healthcare to those in need. RAM fulfills its mission by operating mobile clinics that provide free dental, vision, medical, and veterinary care. Since 1985, RAM has provided $120 million in care to 740,000 individuals.

 

The Pat Summitt Foundation

The Pat Summitt Foundation awards grants to nonprofits engaged in Alzheimer’s patient care, caregiver support, and research for treatment and a cure. Its first landmark milestone was the opening of The Pat Summitt Clinic, formed by a partnership between The Pat Summitt Foundation and the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
